    Hi All,

I've been trying to sell the C-4 trans from my 6 cyl (200 I-6) '72 Mav. A guy is interested, but only if it'll bolt up to a '64 Falcon I-6. Will it fit? Any input will be appreciated!

    Thanks!

If both are 6 cylinder engines yes, it will bolt up and work fine. It will not be the dual range but it will be a great C4.

64 was only available with the 170 and a 221 V8, right? My book starts with 67 or 68.

Dunno, the guy told me it was a '64 Falcon with an inline 6 cyl. Just want to be able to tell him this C-4 (bellhousing) will bolt up to his '64 block...

200 and 170 have the same bellhousing, like PaulS said. I was mostly directing my question to him about what engines were available.
