    I'll give you that, but I can't see any benefit from the late 70's/early 80's heads. Their design can't improve mileage. There's a huge chunk of iron in the middle of the tiny exhaust port.

    More than a couple of sets of E7's have been sold for $20. I'd spend $20 if I could get rid of those 69cc chambers.

    I'm not recommending he go out and throw $1500 at a set of aluminum heads, but to get decent compression with that range, he'd need pop up pistons, then he'd have problems later on if he chose to get *any* decent set of heads.

    I'm going to start a new thread to clean up all the extra stuff not related to the actuall motors I am buying. I will recap what you guys have said so far.
