Chevy engine?

So, I have been thinking about doing a V8 swap in my Maverick for a while now. I thought about going the easy way and doing a 302, but everyone has done that, I want to do something "different". A friend of mine has a great running 350 out of an old pickup that he was going to use for a boat anchor, but I figure why let this awesome engine go to waste when I could put it in my Maverick instead!!

So, does anyone know how hard it will be to put the 350 in a Maverick. I figure with a Quadrajet carb and a set of headers, it ought to be able to smoke any POS small block Ford out there!!!! I figure I should be able to get this done by Fun Ford Weekend, and as long as I don't open my hood while my car is there, no one will know I'm running this clearly superior engine!

I would drive a chevy as a daily driver. They are more dependable. After all, they can't produce enough Horse Power to damage themselves.
