Since I have been a Maverick owner since 1974 I thought I would never see the day these cars would be restored. Life goes by quickly and here we are in a different century. I have bought 1 part from Joe Bayura and that is a battery tray. After buying repop parts for other cars over a lifetime, I can tell you that everything I have ever bought took time and money to fit to my project. Oh yeah, nothing has been offered for our cars in aftermarket, well basically nothing, but some stang stuff that will fit has been offered. The battery tray from Joe well exceeds my expectations.
We finally have someone who has dared to pour money into keeping these cars alive. I really thought I would never see anything like this. If you are considering anything that you need to restore you car, then by all means contact Joe, or RPS or the dealers. This opportunity will surely never arise again, there are not many of these cars left due to the plain cheapness of their being and they have just been sent off to a crusher, or parted out.
I have loved these cars since their creation, and being an original owner of one, gives me inspiration that we can restore these cars and see them roll on for years to come.
Please think about the future of these cars, and your love for them as well. I know the economy is not good, but now is the time to realize that we have a friend who is reproducing parts, and allowing us to restore these cars.
    Dan

Ditto!!! Anyone that is capable needs to try and purchase any part they may be needing as they become available. Joe is putting a lot of money in this venture and he isn't able to move these parts then they will disappear quickly as funds do. I know a lot of people (such as myself) are sitting back waiting on these parts and hoping the price will be within our reach. I can tell you for sure that Joe will be doing everything in his power to make sure they are. He wants to make sure this works for his own sake.
Like Dan said about the tray, this thing is awesome. The small valance panel brackets are just as nice. I can't wait to see the next items. (y)

Well said Dan, and also what Ray said is very important.
We need to be sure and support Joe's efforts here any way we can. If no one buys these new parts, they will not make more and this opportunity will fade away. I personally have yet to buy anything, but I will as budget allows and in the mean time try to support the venture by encouraging others to do the same.
Thanks again Joe for all you've done for this community!
