Does anyone know if there is crossmember for the T5 tranny in a 1976 Maverick?

    Thanks

You'll have to fabricate on for yourself. Some others on here have done it, and maybe can shead more light on it for you.

1974 Maverick I bought for $500 8 years ago when I was 16. Since then I have invested $30,000 into it.

The T5 mounting pad is farther rearward than the Mav trans. Just weld a piece of angle iron on to the rear of your stock cross member and drill a couple holes in it.

    Do a Google search...

...on 'Windsor Fox'. They are a company in Cali. that
deals with Ford stuff. A lot of what they make is 5.0
    conversion kits for older cars.

They may have what you need or know what fits.

its possible to keep the stock crossmember but requires you to rework the tranny tunnel

Yeah, you have to rework the tunnel in any case to make room for the shifter tower and the shift rod tube. If you let the rear of the trans hang so low that they clear your pinion angle will be way off.
