I tell you what...you buy it and I'll take ole "grocery sack tan" off your hands. I sent him a question through Ebay. Hopefully it's close.
Probably a winter transplant. You southern guys probably wouldn't know anything about that. He finally posted bigger pics of that car. Better late than never. I am not seeing 7K.
FROM AUCTION: "Car has been in storage for the last 12 years last driven in 2006 to get Oklahoma auto inspection checks. " Huh? Oklahoma doesn't have inspections anymore and didn't in 2006. I don't know what a winter transplant is, but I once had a car that spent it's life in Chicago. It was fairly low mileage too - but it didn't look it when I got under it.
OK, I gotta "show my green" here - does this mean that some Grabbers came with 6 cylinders? I thought all of them had 8's. There is a local '72 Grabber for sale that has a 6, and it surprised even the seller. Chris
Yep, that is a common misconception. Like Dan said, the majority of Grabbers built were 6 cylinder bench seat cars.
Hey...I thought that all Grabbers came with factory 351s, factory 4 speeds, and factory 9" disc brake rears!
Well, you see, that was the Shelby Grabber. Shelby Grabbers are literally unobtainable they are so rare.
If that is a rust free car, I think with a weekend of detailing and "de-kmarting" it.....it could be a $7000 car.
If it was a bucket seat V8 car, I could see it. But not a 6 cylinder bench seat car. I guess we'll see what the market thinks!
