Just some info on the car i wanted to post. notice the DSO...

I had a '92 SHO taurus(back in '94-95) that was sold new in Cali. The Mav could've been a military relocation/job relocation, possibly left to a relative.I know a couple guys who drove their vehicles down the ALCAN hwy from Alaska, one's a '79 3/4 chevy 4x4 that now lives just outside of Spartanburg,SC,and the other is a '57 Fairlane that now lives in Knoxville,TN.Both guys were military.

You always have to wonder how these cars end up where they are. My '72 daily driver has a 71 Los Angeles DSO. Found the car in Charlotte, NC. According to the title, it was in Philadelphia through the 80's and early 90's, and then changed hands several times in Monroe, NC in the late 90's. The title list California as the "State of origin". So some time in the 70's or early 80's, the car made it's way 2,700 miles across the country. I always think about trying to track down the people listed on the title and see what they know about the car. My '73 2 door is DSO 12, from Buffalo, NY! I got it from Earl Branham, who thought it was originally from South Carolina, so I have no idea what the story is there.

Interesting, yes. My car was built in Canada, delivered to North Carolina, and then ended up in Texas. Always interesting to see how these things transpose....there's a history associated with every car built.
