Steer head hubcaps

Cool. I've also seen hubcaps off a different 70's car that my uncle has in his garage (The hubcaps are in his garage, not the car..) that look similar, with just a "Bump" in the middle instead of any kind of emblem.

 

yeah, i checked your gallery picture and your's looks almost just like mine, but your's is a big bumper and mine's a '73 (medium bumper). what's your color code?

 

That bumper is awesome. Where would I find the paint code? I really need to find the thing with the codes and write it all down...

 

I thought it was just me. I don't get it either.

On a 4-door, isn't it on a tag thats riveted to the door? Maybe it's missing? I've never owned a 4 Dr, I've always used Comets as parts cars

Yeah, I think it's probably a "those hubcaps are ugly" joke at my expense...

 

I've always liked those hubcaps, I've saved a few sets over the years.

I've got a set of the wheel covers. I got them as a gift at our 2007 Dixie Maverick Christmas party. Funny, they looked exactly like the set I gave at the 2006 party.

If I remember, 3 of the 4 emblems were in good shape and the fourth was okay. I gotta find them though. I have Maverick parts located in four different places and I forget where which is where.
