Just wondering if anybody else has had this problem and if there is a kit to fix it. I have noticed I am starting to have right much slop in my auto floor shifter. Any help will be appreciated.

There are two plastic bushings in the shifter that are replaceable just use the kit for mustang.

    Tim-
The rubber slit/dust cover that the shifter rides through is repopped as well. I know mine was dryrotted and in pieces. These parts are easy to find at any Mustang supply house. I think that I bought mine from Mustangs Unlimited. It should be the same for '71-'73 Mustangs, maybe the same for earlier ones as well.
