I got the engin out

    I got the 250 out of the maverick last night I got it all apart and found my self to be very happy the cylinder walls look new but the crank needs to be ground down at least .010 and later this week or next week I should be getting a ltd with a 302 in it that runs good so after I get my engin mounts and frame mounts in the mail I`ll have my mav on the road again :clap:

    BTW if any one needs any parts off a LTD let my know cuz its going to the junk yard when I`m done

    trust me, you will be happy with a 302, I know I am.... just had to change the rear end to make me really happy

    1974 Maverick I bought for $500 8 years ago when I was 16. Since then I have invested $30,000 into it.
    Hey Elliot, are you doing any work on the engine or keeping it pretty much the way your getting it. In any case congrats, and good luck youll love the conversion.

    I have plans for the 302 just not in this maverick its only gonna be in this one while I build up my six then I`ll be looking for a 2 door to make into a race only car that will be the final resting place for the 302
