Well, my son has been wanting something other than the Maverick for
the past few months. No amount of reason could keep his mouth shut.
I told him if he could find a buyer that could give us what we had in the
car..find that person and I would consider selling it. Last night that person
showed up at my door. It's a bitter sweet moment for sure. He plans to
clean it up and drive it. He didn't even balk when I jacked the price up
another $400....so now we are on the hunt for a Mustang or 70's Camaro.
I know.....I know.......I will tell the new owner about how great you guys are...so maybe the car will not be gone from here afterall. Thanks for all
the help and keep the movement going. I 'm sure I will find another Maverick again.

    Don

My Maverick was my daughter's 16th birthday present and she always wanted a new pickup so when she graduated she got a new 95 ranger all the bells and whistles and I got the Maverick back ( the plan all along). She never got all the attention in the pickup as she did in the Mav.

Sorry to hear that. Doesn't mean you have to leave the forum though. Because you know your never going to be able to replace us! Especially with a Mustang or Camaro forum.:D
