Material found for the project,, we have a company on board to cut and Vulcanize the units together,,, we tried the material samples today,, perfect fit,,, So now production will begin,, we ordered a large sample for the company to be sent to the tool maker,, they say it will be a week and tooling should be ready,, for all the material,, tooling,, packaging and manufacturing,, if all stays the same as the quotes,, these can be on the market for $99.95 a set of 2 window gaskets,.:Handshake,, So this is one more part,, to make restoration easier,, Please send RPS an E-mail if you are interested in these rear window gaskets,, We need an Idea for Production numbers,, www.restorationpartssource.com att. What kind of numbers would we need to get the price down on these? To be honest I don't think I'd pay $100 for a set of these, as much as I'd like to have new ones.
The price will come down if we order more then 250 sets,,, :bananaman So lets knock out these 250 sets and get that price down,,,, Joe
last time I seen a set for sale they went for $60 for a set of good used. and those are still 30 years old,,, so for $39.00 more,, and I have 9 mavericks and Comets,, I can tell you I will have new sets on all of them,
