my bad i was looking at the gross vehicle weight rating i didnt see the "R" the first time heres what it says GVWR 4107 GAWR Front 2110 REAR 2015
My 72 V-8 Grabber clocked in at 2840 without me in it. I have since added a 9" rear (40+ LBS more) and sub/connectors (40) But also swapped the C-4 for a 5-Speed (-35 LBS) and am going to aluminum heads (-40). Took out the A/C too. Dont know how much that removed. Does any one here know how much the A/C system weighs?
I just lifted and put in the trunk of my '72 GT the entire heater/ac unit. It weighed approx. 35-40 lbs. Jim
Mine is a 4 speed, aluminum heads and intake, 9", and steel wheels. With a full tank of gas it weighed 3005lbs on a certified Cat scale.
In race trim ( tools and loose stuff out of trunk) Full bottole of N20, Me in the seat, Full tank of gas,RF 945, LF 933, RR 918, LR 551. Total 3347. At that time of weighing i weighed 180. These scales was the ones used at the track.
Wow...367 pounds difference from the right rear and left rear! Do you know (besides battery) where all the difference is?
Not really sure, I know the fuel tank sets off to the left, and my weight, Nitrous bottle and brackets, It also wears the left tire more than the right.
