if i still had big bumpers i probably would be very intrested.

and you can just reuse the current mold for the trunk section. someone just has to make the correct 1/4 extensions to match

Yep, I would be interested (email sent). Some time ago, these were made by an aftermarket supplier, but I'm told the quality was not the best and they no longer produce them.

How many would like to see a trunk lid made from composit with the spoiler built in,, No transsition lines and will fit next to stock Grabber quarter extentions,,?

I sold those 74-77 spoilers for the short time they were available. A guy in Ohio made them and then just stopped quite a few years ago. They weren't perfect but they were acceptable.

I think a composite trunk lid with spoiler would be great. I wouldn't even worry about the transition line. In fact, it would look more factory with one so people doing more of a restoration could still use them too.

Well, another thought (since you're making these from scratch) would be to make the spoiler a little more predominant. I think the original one from FMC was a little on the conservative side. An aftermarket one could extend a little higher, and I think it would look nice. I'm not saying as dramatic as the '70 style Firebirds, but just a little more than what's there would be cool.

    Just a thought....

Actually your thoughts are on the mark,, The new Spoiler kits are a colaberation of what all of you are looking for and what was available at the time,,, Mavaholic,, also added that the rear spoiler should be around 3/4 to an inch higher,, but still conform to the rounded top and basic Idea that Ford had,, so unless you had the 2 side by side the diferances would go almost unnoticed,, but in fact the spoiler would be higher,,:Handshake,, If this also fits to what allot of your are thinking,,, Please let us know,,
Our ghoal is to produce parts for your restoration needs and also help with some improvements to other redesigned parts,,, we plan on making a reproduction Grabber kit exact as OEM,, and also other kits with the taller spoiler as well,, and then coming out with a kit for the 4 door cars and the big bumper cars as well,,,:thumbs2:,, So please keep your Idea's coming,,
