    Has anyone converted a C4 to 4 spd on a 250?

I have the bell housing, peddles, trans.

Still need fly wheel, pressure plate, z-bar and linkageaswell as the shifter.

    Has anyone done this swap?

I wanna build a V8 killer. 200+ HP, 3x1 carbs (I have it) is the goal.Header and a new cam, about a .272 duration. Gotta have a 4spd to make it work.

Hey Bob You're in luck. I just removed a 3speed from my 73 with a 250. I have the flywheel and the z bar and associated parts. Make you a hell of a deal.

Hey Hotrod, if you don't already have a header, check out the post I made earlier in the classifieds section. There is a Hooker header on ebay right now that, according to the seller, is part# 6602 which is the only Hooker header that fits the 250 with the low mount starter. This is a rare piece as this is a discontinued item. This is the header that I have on my car.

Gene, thanks... I had a header and sold it to a Falcon club friend. I should have kept it. I found the one you talked about and bid.

    Thanks for the heads up.

Not a burger; a chili steak. Best onion rings in the world. The Varsity gets the first pick of the famous Vidalia onion crop. Got to get a Frosted Orange and a fried peach pie to go with it. I think they have a cardiologist on staff.:D

    Yep. 6-cyl Z-bar is a one piece; 8-cyl is a two piece.

Z-Bar is engine, not trans specific.

Georgia guys, I'll be in Atlanta Feb.22 to the 28th. One night I know I will be slot car racing at the Mall in Guinette and a racing club members track.
