can anyone tell me if the wiring diagram is the same as 1970 model. the PO bought signal assembly but the wires do not match. the connecter is the same but the wires do not match. nothing works when it is plugged up. car wireing harness has hotwire for brake lights etc but nothing works.the wire colors in the car harness are not the same as in the 1970 wireing diagram. the car is a 1969.5 because the ignition switch is in the dash. have heard the 69.5 has a lot of differences could this be one. thanks for any help:). myselfandiamhopeless

    :Welcome:

Yes, I am 98% sure the later '70 switch will not work. From what I have found, the '69.5 uses the same switch as a '69 Mustang and a few other mid-late 60's Fords.
