Russ, I went with a 3:70 rear gear. Had a 4:11 in it for 25 years. The little I have driven the car has made me wish I had done the swap years ago. The 3:70 for me is the best of all worlds.

ps cant wait to see Mustang and Fords feature on Tammy's car, that car is sooo cool.

    Congratulation Dan!!

Me and Tammy entered her car in a show down in LA and for some reason it can't ever win anything (I think it's because there is nothing flashy about it). That not to take anything from the winner or any other maverick entered, Maverick man, GS Johnson's and others. So we took it to Las Vegas to see if we could get another magazine.

We didn't approach anyone from the magazine they came and got us (it's a game like the one we have to play with women). Jeff Ford and Shelby Cox, loved the car from the start and we won the prize. With the prize they shot the car for the magazine. Shelby told us she was intrested in buying a maverick and after seeing Tammy's she was set to do it. The YO picture is the front shot of Tammy's.

Jeff Ford also let us know that he had planed on running our car in the magazine by using the article from Hot Rod (I wonder if they would have told us). I'm glad they didn't do that because the car has changed alot sence then.

So for a change my new car is more show and less of a driver with a little flash, so I can see if we can win some throphies for a change.
