I'm running the new rubber that was on the rims when I bought them:

    255-60R 15 Rear (no problems)
225-70R 14 Front (Rubs a little with sharp turn and inclined surface. I wouldn't have gone so tall, but it equalizes the height of the tires front to back).

I guess they're called "reverse chrome". "Smoothies" are another name I've heard.

Darryl has even said she has had the thumbs up driving the car between Austin and College Station with the chrome!

It looks great Doug. I am glad you can get some use out of those wheels and tires. I am already scheduling my vacation time for this years roundup. Right now I am busy snowmobiling in northern Michigan, but it won't be long before I start thinking Maverick.
    Later,

    Hello Doug.

Yes, those wheels make the car stand out, and they look good on the 4-door.

Lee, glad those wheels/tires found a good home.
