Shifter ?

    On a cable actuated shifter does the transmission lever inside the case have to be flipped if converting from a column. As for a standard floor mounted shifter.

    My B&M shifter came with a new shift lever. The stock one remains and the new one slips over the shaft.

    i have the b&m megashifter and nothing inside the tranny needs to be changed. but, i did have to trim one piece off of a lever outside.:)

    Gonna have to list your shifter or check with manufacture on this. Turbo Cheetah gotta open tranny

    Should be a go on that one. Best to check the manufacturer's site, most will have instructions.

    I found if you can find a store with shifters on display it's lots easier to pick your shifter. Some shifters look neat as heck,,,, hard to operate! Plus you can SEE dimensions for mounting with seat an dash
