I found out about this car from a friend of a friend. The guy who owns it has around 40 cars left, I don't know how many he started with. Most of them are in the same shape as this mav, but there are a few nice ones. Every car in his yard is $100.00 for the whole deal. I worked with him to just strip this one for cheap, I don't need what's left of it, I don't think anyone does. It was a 70, since it has the drop in tank. No floors, bench seat was sitting on dirt, attached to nothing. Look close for the pull-tab beer cans, the interior was full of them, I should get some pictures of inside. There was a NOS t-stat on the package tray, still NIB.

    I got:
    • NICE rear small bumper
    • decent front small bumper
    • rear valance
    • 120mph speedo with redline option
    • radio knobs, window rollers, wiper knob, etc
    • nice, complete medallion grill, no medallion
    • mint package tray
    • 1/4 endcaps for Mike
    • lots of little trim pieces, etc.
If anyone is interested, the car has near perfect glass and trim all around. I can go back and take anything else anytime, but the car will be shredded once I say I'm done.

Holy cow... Is there anything left to shred? Looks like it's going to just turn to dust when they try to move it. LOL Don't know if that's the roughest Mav I have ever seen, but it's a damn close second.

Might want to check out the gas tank. People are always on the look out for them. If its a 69.5, I need a turn signal switch.

The key was on the column, so it should be a '70, right?

yea i think the redline makes it a 69 or a 70 but since the key is on the column that narrows it down to being a 70
