I'm not too good at this computer generated stuff but you'll get the idea of what I am going to do with my 71.
dennis, if you could paint the spoiler blk. i think it would help the look of the tail light.or lights. that light is cool is that a real light or one you got from a flash back ?...frank...:bananaman :bananaman
The spoiler is red only because thats the color of the car it came off of. The whole car will be painted some shade of blue or burt orange.
How will you make that taillight? If you put bunches of pieces together, wouldn't the seams show? Looks pretty cool though. -Corbin
I knew you couldn't leave that little old lady car alone. How about making the whole red section out of red plexiglass? Looks cool but, might be tuff to get gas in it though. Russ
I been bidding on tailights on Rivieras and Eldo's. I had the same plan. I hadnt done puter stuff. Since I am going with a fuel cell it would be simple to eliminate the gas cap. Now I am just gonna forget the tailight conversion for now. Wonder how a Packard tailight would look? Dan
The whole panel will be a functioning tail light. The whole thing will light up for running and brake lights and half and half for turn signals. Hopefully an LED set up. I already have the material for the lens. The fuel filler will be shortened so the cap will be in the trunk. Since its not a vented cap, this shouldn't be a problem. I probably wont put a chrome bezel around it unless I can find a much smaller material. More than likely the lens will be flush with the raised panel in the center and as big. I'm not putting any back up lights. Their not necessary in my opinion.
