I think that is a great price. I had a very good chromer do mine and it cost $225. Keep up the good work!
I am interested in a set up boomerangs without the chrome. Possible? I also would like to get composite bumpers, front and rear, without the chrome. I want to paint these parts so chroming them is just an unnecessary waste of effort and expense. Let me know what you decide. Thanks loads.
Not dumb at all. It's the L-shaped molding that fastens to the body right behind the quarter glass on 2-door Mavericks/Comets.
that is more then fair... if you all remember i looked into doing this and i said forget it! tooling was way too much. i was aiming for about $70 for a set... but i'd have to sell more then what people would probably want just to brake even. so Joe good job! one less thing for me to take on! Carbon i can do anytime just that i don't feel there is a demand for it so i'm just not going to do it. either way good job joe!
Jamie, do you have a pic of both style of boomerang? You already post one style, do you have the other to see the difference?
The only difference is the outside leading horizontal edge is rounded on the earlier models. When they came out with the stainless trim that runs along the top of the door and quarter panel, they squared the corner so it blends in with the trim. So unless you have this trim on your car, you can use the rounded one regardless of year.
