Finding upholstery fabric

    This winter I'm going to start re-upholstery my car seats. Does anybody know where I can get the fabric?

    are you looking for the correct fabric or just a good fabric to use?

    If you want a custom fabric then you can go to a local fabric store and ask them what they have - if it's not what you want they can tell you where you can get it. Leather supply houses will suppy whole hides that come close to matching if you want leather. You can get a full cow hide tanned for about $200 and it will cover one seat. (if you want leather)
    You can also get replacement covers in kits that have instructions on how to install them from a few of the aftermarket automotive supply houses.

    I'm looking for a good vinyl fabric. The orginal was a cloth and vinyl seats. I want to change it to all vinyl material.
