Weight I have only had my Maverick for less than a year, but I went on the hunt looking for one after a friend of mine told me what they weigh, then I did the research and found out for my self, The guy that owned mine before me told me that it was under 2600 with him in it, he was all of about 150, I am closer to 250 (all muscle lol) I have only met 2 other mavericks at the track, a 71 and a 74 the 74 guy told me he was tipping the scales at 2800 without him and the 71 guy said he was just shy of 2700 with driver, this was exactly what I figured I weighted as I did the math and figured out all the weight savings that had been done, neither one of the guys I met ran aluminum heads or glass bumpers, I am confident that my car without me is under 2500 I have weighted it 2 times now and am pretty convinced.
