would the clear comet turn signals be able to work in a maverick grill and look like the grabber sport lights?

i never even noticed they were clear on my comet untill i was looking through my album tonight

There are clear lenses for the grill lights.

When I bought my Comet here in Sweden, they must have had such problems locating the lenses, so the ones that were in was just a piece of clear plastic glued to the bezels, I did not even notice untill I started looking at pictures here...

well ive noticed how people are always looking for the clear grabber sport lights but if the clear lenses on the comet are the same that might make the search a little easier

    I've had a few
They will not swap to an older car (I want to say '74 and older?), but they should work fine on your Maverick if your car still has the '76 grille.

yea i still have the same '76 grill in my pic with the amber lights. eventually i want to get the small bumper turn signals and swap over the comet grill lights into the mav to look like the sport lamps

Actually they will, but you need to use the newer bezel along with the lens and drill out the mounting bosses.

    Clear lenses

I used clear lenses from a 76 comet, wired the signal lights to have a high and low to the lights , works fine.
