Mavmanerick, As an older (31) wiser member of the board I feel it is my duty to tell you that you are not mature enough to own your Mav and you must send me the title and car immediately. J/K LOL :biglaugh: Hopefully you can wade through my sarcasm.

We used to call it "key-banging".

We had a 70 Ford Ranger pickup company work truck. It was a 6 cylinder/ 3 speed stick and was beat upon mercilessly.

Very loud backfire, and yes, it was amazing that the exhaust stayed on that poor thing.

This truck belonged to a Goodyear dealership, and frequently driven by mechanics who would shift w/o using the clutch and other horrors of intentional abuse. They let it get so bad, you would have to pump the brakes three times to stop it until I refused to drive it anymore.

I always liked that truck ... ;) If I ever need a pickup, and could find one of these, I'd be tempted. Great styling, short bed, and proven indestructable by experts. lol
