    Idk why but sometimes the flames dont show up... on the first and second pop, you should see some pretty good flames come out the tailpipe..:)

    Has it allways done that??? could be an exhaust valve hanging open.

    no you rev it up, shut it off, wait a split second then turn it back on without hitting the starter and it backfires.. just a little party trick..:D

    Neat! but not good for your valves.Or your carb if it burps the other way.

    Yeah, we use to do the same thing when we were kids too. :rolleyes:
    Hopefully you won't blow your muffler up like I did. Maybe they make mufflers a little better nowadays. :hmmm:

    OHH yea used to do that trick in the tunnel near by.Was all cool till i split 2 brand new thrush mufflers open like a can of beans.The real bad part was that they were on my moms 1963 Meteor and my dad knew right away what i did.I learned quick at 16 years old with only a part time jod what a pair of mufflers were worth.

    Done that many times back in my younger days in the Portsmoth tunnel in an old work truck. Haul ass, turn the ignition off, wait about 10 seconds, turn ignition back on. Sounds like a bomb going off.

    ...did my moms 6cyl. ford (3 speed) like that...made a stock flat muffler... round.
    mom took the car in for something hitting the floorpan...it was the muffler...about 3" taller than stock.
    a friend of mine did an...Opel GT...like that and blew the carb. off the 4cyl.(4 speed) we would do it ...one more time...but coast a little longer.
    ...cool but not smart...
