I paid the same amount for it as I did my Daily Driver that I drove to the Roundup... and it's got Mavaholics GT Rims on it. hehehehe

My Dad and I are making the road trip probably grabbing a room Saturday night and going to get the car early Sunday Morning and bringing her home Sunday. Wish me luck that all is as advertised. As long as everything is kosher I will be able to play with the big boys at the Roundup next year..... I've got a bad case of butterflies aqnd Perma-Grin right now.

I am getting ready to call the guy about picking the car up in just a couple minutes I had to give myself a little time to calm down...lol Didn't wanna sound like a giddy school girl when I call this guy hahaha.
Any way from the pictures and talking to the guy I got a good feeling about the car and the fact that it worked out is always a sign to me... It seems like when things just don't workout for me they just weren't meant to be and this fell in place just like the other Maverick Did... Now I just have to get on the ball and get that 68 Galaxie shiny running and sold so I can put the wife's money back in the bank and get the small car lot out of my driveway..... Anyway I think between the two Mavs I have now I will certainly be happy for quite some time.... I hope it all work out as well as it has this far... Will keep you all up to date... I have a feeling that the rest of this week is going to drag on like none other....Well enough rambling... wish me Luck and I will talk you you guys and gals later... BTW did I mention I got one of the bestest wifes in the world??? It's true..:chirp:

Thats a pretty neat car!! Good luck & hope everything goes well!!
One thing I wonder about, it's the color of the engine compartment? must have been painted black by the owner? Or could it have been done at the factory since it's a light colored car? My 73 is light green, and the engine compartment is green.
