fender lip roller

I have taken a good look at the fender lip rolling jig and I think I'm going to make one this weekend and I will post pics and dimensions of all items. I will also post pics of finish product.

 

I have finished the plate that attaches to the rotor or drum. I have to machine the slots for the studs.

 

did you cut that with that plasma cutter?

 

oh no I welded a pipe onto a piece of flat stock and chucked the pipe and flat stock in the lathe and cut the hole and machined the outside edge with a lathe just a little skill I picked up somewhere along the way.

 

When it has to run true there is no replacing a lathe! You just don't ever get it to run true when you do it by hand. (not saying you couldn't do it - it just is extremely difficult)

Cut some more holes so it will fit a 4-lug car....

Otherwise, bring it by my house and try it out on my fenders... (I have 5-lugs)

 

Oh, and bring a cam, 16 lifters, and a double-roller cam chain/sprockets with you

 

Don't forget the gaskets, and the beer!

 

yeah I'll bring the rig and I think I have a cam, lifters, roller timing chain LOL

 

hell I have that too. I have at least 10 beers in the fridge and a complete gasket set in the garage

One day my tools are going to be neat & have their place, one day...lol...How do this work?

 

I am intrested to see how this works. If it does what I think it does I sure could use it.
