    73 Comet stock 302.
Done the body work, done the interior, almost done the brake swap drums to disks, got the gt hood, drag slicks, lowered frount, and changed the gear ratio 4:11.
Now thats about as much as i know to do (more of a body person). I would like to drop from my mid 17's 1/4 to around 14 or 15 but only got about 1000cnd left to do it... so i thought i take it to the masters of maverick and comets.

Considering my limited funds would it be better to go to a 4bbl or a 500cfm holley

Spend that money on nitrous oxide.
    That'll get your ET down.
1000.00CDN should be able to get you an Edelbrock performer intake and carb (good used from someone) and use the balance to get the nitrous.

You can put a couple Moroso or JEGS or Sumitt or Comp Cam or MSD or Lunati, basically any kind of "sticker" on your car and it will help your E/T.

Its a proven fact that 1 sticker will knock off almost a 1/10th!

Unless the car has real tall tires, the 4.11's are way too much for a stock motor. My guess is that you will run out of motor before the end of the quarter mile.
