Everything is okay with me and mine here. LOTS of excitement, tuff getting around with all the road closures, etc but nearest fire was the west side of Mt. Miguel at about 1/2 mile away. Got some great fire shots with the whole mountain burning. When I was packing up the critical stuff to evacuate if needed, a friend called and offered to tow the project car to his house for safe keeping. What a load off my mind. The contents of the house wouldn't have really hurt my feelins all that much, but to lose the Maverick...unthinkable. I hope everyone else is doing well. The fires are pretty wide spread in SoCal right now so it is hard to keep track of who is near to the current out of control wild fires.
Hey Jay. Been pretty crazy around here lately, eh? Good to here everything is good your way. We are pretty good here. Can't really see the sun yet though .
We just sent you one of our Mars Water Bombers the other day from my hometown of Port Alberni, B.C....they are HUGE. They will help greatly in the fight!
Don't worry, I took both hoods, the original grabber hood and the carbon fiber cowl hood. Seriously, I was more worried about the car than I was about the rest of the contents of the house. Of course the house doesn't have much in it that is worth anything.......... Everything turned out fine for us. Even the smoke is gone from my place now. I took aver 200 pictures over about a 6 hour time frame. I figure that I got maybe 10 good pictures and 1 exceptional picture. Jamie, are you going to be at SEMA next week? I plan on going Wednesday and Thursday. I think you will be impressed with the Dynacorn '67 fastback that Matt has been building. Once again, I hope everyone else is still safe.
Yes, I will be there all week long. We are in booth # 24673. You and Matt are more than welcome to stop by. We will be celebrating our 50th anniversary this year and we will be pumping kegs right at our booth on Tues. and weds . You do like free beer right? Is the stang going to be in Dynacorn's booth? I would love to see how the whole thing panned out. See ya there!!!! Jamie
