advice on front tires

    Well guys and gales ,i just finished up my rear tire situation ,i put 265 r50 x15 on my 8.5 weld draglites. They fit and look awsome ,now the QUESTION is what size tire to put on the 3.5 inch draglites for the front tires . Some advice please on size of tire for front ,remember this is a summer street/strip driver:cheers:Outlaw Jimmy2gates

    Just tell the tire shop you are looking for tires for a old Volkswagon Beeetle thats what they had on them Just like Blown said 165/80/15.

    Think Sears still sells them also. We used to do the real skinny front thing in the 70's. Always liked the look.

    Not anymore, they discontinued the Euro Metric 165R15. I have bought many pairs of those over the years, and it pissed me off when he told me they quit making them. I also bought a set of the KumHos. Look good too. . .

    Try Coker Tire. They have a website, google it. They carry tires for everything back to T models. A bit pricey for some of them, but where else are you going to find a tire made in the original mold from years ago?

    Three 71 Maverick Grabbers, a 72 302 Sprint, a 73 LDO 2door parts car, a 76 silver v8 Stallion.
    I just bought a pair of them for the front of my car 2 weeks ago. The tire store did say they had been in stock for a while and I better get them while I could. They are CENTRED brand. It was the same brand I had already been running and were several years old. I had a belt seperate in one of them so I decided to just replace the pair. I paid $95 for both of them.
