Hi you all maverick fans, my name is Anibal, I am from Panama, Republic of Panama from Central America. This is the first time using this forum, even though I have used it before and I like to congratulate the persons involved doing this very helpfull maverick/comet forum. Well, about me, I started collecting Ford Mustang before getting attached to maverick. I have had the following mustangs:
    1- 1966 Coupe, 289ci, aut.
    2- 1967 Coupe Gt, 390ci, aut.
    3- 1967 Fastback Gt, 390, 4 sp.
    4- 1968 Coupe, 289ci, aut

Well, now I have the following cars:
1- 1970 Maverick, 3 sp, 6 cil. This one is under restauration. I want to add a 302ci with automatic trans. Soon I will include some pictures of this project.
2- 1972 Maverick (Comet?) 302ci, aut. This one I am not sure if is a Maverick, due to a previous owner added some comet parts??!!
Soon I will include some picture, maybe one of you can help me identify this car.

    Thanks,

    maverickanibal

Welcome. Where were your Mavericks built? Did they come with heater (I believe Mexican Mavericks came with no heaters or were options)?

    Hi again.

About heater, maverick and comets came with no heater when the cars where export out of US by a dealer, unless the dealer requested in an especific country needing the heater. In Panama, you can find cars with heater due to must of the cars came abroad by american soldiers and some private owners in that time.
Concerning about posting some pictures of my cars I need some help from you, due to I am not familiar with this forum, I need advice.
Also, thanks from all of you for giving me a worm welcome.

    Anibal.

PS. Does any of you have an idea if floor pans from mustang will fit a 1970 maverick? and also I need to replace the fuel tank? THANKS
