New Iberia here. 'Spent most of my childhood in and around Jonesville/Harrisonburg. Moved to Houston in '80. Currently in Singapore (for unknown length of time).
Was working on a Bank Conversion and staying in Morgan City. Planned on doing some sight seeing in New Orleans on Sunday morning but wound up fixing a problem at a branch in New Iberia. Decided to see the Gulf and went for a drive. Almost totaled the rental car outside of Kaplan. Drove around and ended up in Holly Beach. Decided to head back to the hotel so we went North through Hackberry and to Lake Charles and took the highway back. Went to the hotel bar and the bartender, who we had gotten to know during our stay asked what we did that day. We told her about our trip and she said Hackberry where is Hackberry?
