9 inch rear axle studs

    Well guys i just mounted my draglite rims to a set of tires and went to put them on the car only to find out the stock studs are to short .What are the CORRECT length of the studs that are needed to mount these Weld draglites to a ford 9 inch ,the stud length of the rim is 1.5 " i believe . Ill have to buy 10 new wheel studs :cheers:Outlaw Jimmy2gates

    Are you using the SST lug nuts .They have a longer shank

    SEE??? That's what you get for buying my wheels!!! They will only fit the studs on MY car!!! :huh:

    You need 3" studs. Been there done that. Twice.

    Yeah, and svthauln is correct. You will also need the long shank open end lug nuts. They have different colored caps you can put over the open end if you want.

    i thought you only need..."open end lugnuts"...if you were ...drag racing...? :hmmm: (this is for people that are not racing).

    You don't have to run the open end lugs just the longer shank. I have the same set up on both my cars with stock lugs.
