congratulations to badmav 7086 on winning the high school championship at SIR tucson. not only did matt win the class but his dad won the superpro class. and i believe his brother brad was in a run off for the pro championship.
Congratulations...love it when a Maverick does great . I remember back in 1987 when my brother won the HS championship at Bandimere in his 74 Comet. I went with him every weekend ( I was 15 and obsessed with drag racing and had a 72 Grabber). He beat a 10 sec. Nova in the last race of the season to break a tie...man that was a long time ago, but seems like yesterday. My point is cherish the win, you never know how things change in the future.
Thank you very much. yes my dad also won super pro and my brother won the second half of pro but he broke the snout off the crank first pass last weekend and the new motor we put together for this weekend ran 7 mph slower at the other end and he gave up the stripe badly in the run off for the overall championship.we had a very good year and hopefully it will continue for a while longer. see you guys in vegas.
