Same way. I once suspended the pump only by the fuel lines and it was still noisy.

I drove around yeserday for a little over two hours and today I drove to the track, raced and drove back...about 3 hours for a total of about 5 hours of run time...and its still quiet! I don't hear a thing when I am driving..and just a slight hum everyso often when I sit at a light..but you have to really listen for it. Trust me..this is one quiet pump! You will not be dissapointed! When I first put it in I thought it wasn't working...I went underneath and had to feel it(car was running) to see if it was running...very quiet!(y) Very impressed!

    I have a holley red...silent. Now!

Just took some interesting engineering on the mounting. It was loud before, but now I have it hanging from a metal mount on rubber grommets, and it is completely silent.

better flow, higher volume, less clutter under the hood, but those are just my reasons.

I was thinking i was getting fluctuating fuel pressure with my 110gph mechanical pump so I swapped to an electric one to keep the pressures up at lower rpms.

I have not, to many other priorities. While at the Street Machine Nationals last weekend a friend of mine drove my car and noted how loud the pump was. He told me later that there was another car with a much louder pump.:)
