    :rolleyes: :rolleyes: i see where mav. conn. has sold 14 sets of the 25 sets of the maverick valve covers.:rolleyes: i wonder to whom they went to. anyone know and would tell?...frank...

    Well I'll confess, I bought a set. :) I just figured, how long before this opportunity comes around again? If I hadn't I'd probably just end up kicking myself later, and if I change my mind, I'm sure I can sell them later on and at least recoup some of the cost. Then again, I AM a true Maverick enthusiast. ;) Just kidding! :D

    I just bought a set as well. I am not even sure that the valve covers will fit with my EFI set up, but I agree...they were too cool to pass up! The price is high when compared to $30 el cheapo ones...but it is pretty much in line with other specialty valve covers like the ones Jegs sells that say "Mustang" of "Cobra"...

    I really gotta stay away from Ebay before I go broke! :D

    For any one that has a set, could you put a straight edge across the bottom and measure how deep they are? Thanks.

    I talked to Chuck last week. He talked to the supplier and he's saying "December 8 as the ANTICIPATED ship to him date".

    There are only 8 sets of the Maverick valve covers left to sell.

    No, I haven't.

    It's still a little early: The date of December 8th is when the manufacturer was supposed to ship the valve covers to him.

    I think I am going to get Tracy (Pegasus) to powder coat me a set of valve covers. He says he can put the logo in them. He gave me a price of about $80, including shipping. Hope the price holds. Tracy, if you are out there, let me know.

    WTF? I got on ebay, and there are two auctions for the valvecovers, one says there is 7 left and the other says there is 19 left. which one is it?

    i only saw the 7 left on the covers on pg. one. i did see where someone bid $1,000 on the $50.00 72' mav. has me wondering what mine is worth. naaa just thinking out loud...frank...:bananaman :bananaman
