1969 1/2 Front valence difference

    I had never noticed before.....but a 1969 1/2 front valence is slightly different than a 1970-1972 front valence. Look at the attached picture. The 1969 1/2 front valence is behind the 1970-1972 front valence. Note on the 1969 1/2 front valence that there is a special indentation made for the front turn signals. Never noticed that before.

    Yea, that is one of the first things I notice on my '69.5 when I got it last summer. I was going to switch it out with one of my other valances, because I don't like the way it looks.

    I would say they use the same turn signal...but I don't know for sure. I would have sworn that the valences were the same.

    Sho nuff.... I have a 69.5, and I never noticed!! maybe because the only other maverick i've ever seen in person was another 69.5 (parts car)

    Two 1973 LDO Mavericks (one 4 Drag one 4 driving like Mad on the roads :) ) also have a 75 6cyl Stock! Ok, well sort of Stock :P

    my valence came off a '70, guess i should check that it really wasnt a 69.5
