We rented the track!,goin racing tomorrow

    Me and a few friends rented Toronto Motorsports Park for tomorrow but the bad news is i'm not taking the Comet.I'm going to run my 1964 pick up.I did a torque converter change and got the NOS system on it and i want to see how it works[hopefully better] Should be a fun day.

    Killer, you are getting great times from a somewhat mild build, I LOVE IT! We are running very similar setups, excepy for the converter, and you have me by .15 and soon to be .40! Nice times!

    Well all went very well,the old truck ran great and didn't break a thing.The new converter and ignition system was good for 6 tenths! Previously it ran a best of 12.72 and it went a 12.11 @110 today.All in all im very happy.Was hoping for 11's but they are not that far away.

    The 100 shot dropped it a little over half a second.I was having some carb issues with my 850 so i swapped on a little 700 [little for a 460] and it slowed down over 3 tenths on motor with the carb change,and thats the carb i used with the nitrious.So i'm sure theres more in it.I need another day at the track to sort out a few more things.It was a blast though,one friend put on 30 passes on his Mustang with no waiting in the lanes,we had 22 cars show up for the rental day it was perfect.Going to rent it again next year.
