Ok i dont know whats going on ok if my head lights are not on all my tail lights work exept the left backing up light but when i turn the headlights on that light works but my right brake light does not work
GROUNDS, GROUNDS GROUNDS!!!!! They will cause more weird problems than anything. Reclean and tighten every ground you can find.
lol ok then ill check my grounds but how do i do that they all run in this little braded thing that goes up though my left quater panel
Trace the wiring harnessess from your lights. All of them have a ground. Also make sure you have a good ground from your motor to the body. Most people run the battery ground to the motor but it is mounted on rubber mounts.
I dont know if this applies or not but if you have changed ANYthing electrical (worked before - dont now) go back and look there. I pulled my Package tray-radio etc out to do something and then noticed after putting it all back together my old AM Radio and if I remember correct my windshield washer pump would not work until I put the car in reverse. This did not come to light until sometime later since the car is not a daily driver and I did not put 2 and 2 together until I had spent several hours tracing and retracing things going to the back up lights. Upon remembering working under the dash I simply took everything out and redid it. One of the plugs under the dash would go in either way and as I looked at it I realized I had put it in backwards. Reversed it and everything went back to working fine. On another note had a Cheby Truck with interior light and something else (been a long time ago) not working and traced everywire I could trace to find out when I went to blow the horn at a dog it did not work. Replaced the horn fuse and everything else went to working. I was told several circuits use the same ground and that the ground was probley what linked them. Hope this helps.
