Some of you guys might know that I work at the Port of Houston. We get weekly shipments of Audis and VW and several other imports. Well, I was down at our other location and happen to get into the VW yard and took some pictures of an Audi R8 and I got to sit in it and start it up. Man, that is a damned nice car but out of my league when comes to money. So, I was so excited that I took pictures. Well someone from VW seen us taking pictures and escorted me back to the security building and made me erase the pictures and threatened me with that fact that he could have me arrested for taking pictures becuase it is a Free Trade Zone. Man, I wish I could show you guys the pictures of this awesome car http://www.leftlanenews.com/audi-r8.html
Bunch of a$$holes. Seems that in a FREE trade zone, you would be free to take pictures. Shades of the Nazi's. "Your papers, please" You'd think they would want publicty about one of their cars. Maybe you took pictures of their terroist car bomb.
Went through that when VW had the plant in New Stanton Pa. PIA to make deliveries! Free Trade zone authority given to a bunch of Barney Fifes! When they load that on the carriers, don't they have a real nice zippered bag covering it? That's the closest I got to one! Ahh,,,really I was more interested in the car bag for covering my car or something!
