'71 v8 mav question

i got a guy trying to tell me a 302 was special order in '71. i know it was an option but there was nothing special about it right? he also insists that a '71 ordered with a v8 came with 5 lug wheels.

 

The 302 was an option and the v8 cars where 5 lugs. Just a matter of checking a box when the order was placed for the car. Nothing special about it.

 

but they were still 4 wheel drums right?

Some people call "option" a "special order" cause it wasn't standard on all models.
