I found this guys name on one of the maverick message boards offering to make / sell solid motor mounts. I've sent him the money but know can't connect with him. Anyone know this guy and what his situation is?

money order went to a po box 991 in maysville nc. on 8/20/03. i have 2 phone numbers on him, ones his folks the other ???. 910-743-2201 & 2621. i left a message couple times but got no reply. last i knew he was working on a '48 pro street. i looked for the original contact information / e mail but can't find it. that's all i got on mr jones the machinist. thanks for any help.
I think there is some mail fraud protection laws to help out when something like this happens. That city is almost 4 hrs away from me. If it was closer and not a po box, I may have been able to help. Check w/ the post office about mail fraud protection and call the money order company to get the name of the person who cashed the money order. Once you get things in order call his "folks" again and let them know what's going on. He'll probably contact you then.
i don't think there is any intended fraud but i'll keep your sggestion in mind. guess i'll just keep calling.
Well it's only been a month and a half. He's probably still working on them. I was just giving ya something to think about for down the road. It's easy to get side tracked. Happens to me all the time.
