    My '72 hit 115 under it's own power. Took a big hill and about 3 1/2 miles to get there. :D The whole car was shaking, was pretty scary.

    I used to cruise my comet at 110 mph 35 miles to work everyday. It was only a 250 3 speed. Of course, the straightest flattest road in west Texas and 2.70 something rear gears doesn't hurt your top end. It was pretty smooth too but, it took about 3 seconds for steering input to make a difference. Oh yeah, speedo in mine(76) was (when I got) 100 mph
