Well, I have added a 5th car to my "on-hand" collection....this 1975 Mercury Comet. It might look O.K. in this picture....but it is pretty rusty. The back bumper rusted right off!!! The frame and torque boxes are really rusty. The people I bought it off of were driving it everyday...until the bumper fell off and the brakes totaly went out!! They were even pulled over by the cops as they were driving it to my house to sell it to me. They got a warning ticket. If I knew the brakes were that bad (as in NONE), I would have gone and picked it up instead of them driving and hour and a half to bring it to me.

Real nice interior...kind of a shame to have to part it out. Oh well...can't save them all!!

Lite tan bench seat....all vinyl. Very nice.

Not sure what parts I will have yet as i really haven't looked it over yet. I know it has disc brakes, 91K actual miles, rebuilt carb, AT, and two new tires.

I will be parting this car out. email me for what you are looking for.

Yes, comet Dad, I should have those trim pieces you need. Email me: Craig(a)MaverickCorral.com

How much for the tan kickpanels? I'd also like to know what kind of shape the back dash is in. Oh, front and back on the kickpanels. Thanks, Country

    This spurs the question...

Who here owns the most Mavericks/Comets? (whole cars, running or not)
