What other Fords do you have access to down there?
Here we usually go to the junkyard and find a 75-80 Granada/Monarch and take the discs off those. They bolt right onto a Mav.
Other options here are late 60s Fords, like Mustang, Torino, Fairlane, Cougar, Montego, Cyclone... and such.
I bet there is a Ford that was available there with compatible disc brakes, but I would have no idea what to tell you.

If aftermarket systems are your only option, or what you want, then I don't have any suggestions. I will let someone else tell you that has used them.

    Welcome to the board!
Glad to have more Brazilians here!
    Dave

If you go complete aftermarket. I like the strange brakes. I had Wilwood on my old car an had trouble with alignment of pads in calipers. Talked to others with same problems.

Went with Strange all the way around an really like the way they went on an look. Car aint running yet so I cant tell how they work but see no problems their! Thinking strange has a sale going on now also!

Just an after thought,,,,You coming to the states soon,,,may be able to finance your brake purchase by bringing Brazil Taillights to sale! I'd be interested in a set!

Thats OK for me. How much do you believe its fair to ask for a par??
they uses to go from $50 to $100 (used) each here. There is no replicas in Brazil. All units are original by ford
Also there is 2 models. 73-76 (smaller) and 77-79 (bigger)
I will buy your set DKstuck and post via Miami mid September.
I cannot find strange brakes in internet. Do you have the link or URL??

I'd like a stock Maverick tach.
What do those go for in excellent condition?
Is that something you could ship from Miami as well?
    Thanks!
