a few weeks back i bought a '70 shelf off my friend for something like $10 i think, figured i could use or profit off it somewhere down the road. anyway i want to bolt it in my '76. i did a few searches and didnt find anything "specific". ive heard a few people mention needing brackets too, needless to say he didnt have them to sell me. hopefully this is something i can bend, cut, drill, and make myself? i have a non-A/C car so hopefully that helps with the ease of instilation. im not sure what the shelf is made for, ac or not. it looks like im also going to need something to cover up the bottom of the steering colom and fuse box? im still up in the air about a radio. im fine with giving it the radio delete look though.

    as always

    thanks 4 the help :thumbs2:

Actually the package tray and later style dashes are a little different. The early style dashes have rounded bottom corners where as the later style dashes are squared off. The tray should bolt in never the less, I know there are two brackets on each side but I'm not sure about the rest. It would probably be best to just make your own brackets so you can make it fit 100% correct with the later dash. Hope this helps out a little.

The shelf brackets also support the bottom of the dash. I would think they shouldn't be too hard to come by. I will look through my stuff today and see if I have a set.
