i'd sure like to take a look at it for the race car also. don't really need a speedo just aftermarket gauges.
I have been wanting to do something like this myself. Either sheet metal or fiber. I just don't have the skills to do it myself. I would be interested, but would have to see a prototype before commiting.
All right then, it sounds like people are interested if the prototype is up to par and the piece up to price . At least, from the responses, I will deem the part as being relatively desireable. I should have the example in a few weeks. Because of the complications of mounting a flat surface (the back of the gauges) to a curved panel, certain radius dimensions for the openings need to be altered using a drafting program, to ensure accuracy, before a production model can be fabricated. This is the hardest part. I'll try to post, occassionally, for progress updates. Thanks guys! Eric

sounds like a great idea. with the curve of the dash its hard to get anything to mount flush and get it to look good. good luck
