I just installed an FRPP damper on the crank and I discovered that the crankshaft pulley no longer lines up with the alternator, water pump and PS pump pulleys. I measured an old stock balancer and it is the same width. However, the stock damper has another inch of material between where the pulley attaches and the actual balancer! A bit like four raised "ribs" where the pulley attaches. Any ideas?
If they are like the units from Professional products they sell spacers to make up for the differences across the years.
